This 20 year old bathroom in a condo in Arnold, MD was clearly in desperate need of a makeover. Most of these older units were built with builder grade materials that were never very ‘nice’ or of a quality that most of us would want in our home.
We also know how much even a basic bathroom remodeling can bring to your home’s financial value, but for this customer, they live in the condo so the value goes far beyond money.
To increase the size of the shower, we needed to decrease the size of the doorway. Everything in the shower needed to be demolished, as well as the vanity, sink and toilet.
We installed a new shower pan and started the tile work while waterproofing the shower walls. Many contractors skimp on this part of the job because it won’t be seen by the customer but the effects of a job done wrong can be devastating so be sure you choose the right contractor (of course we would love for you to choose us :).
We installed a new vanity and sink, mirror and towel racks. We did the interior painting and added new hardware to the doors and cabinets. Now we have a great new bathroom.
And an awesome shower.
