Romabio Painting Process

Anyone can just paint or stain brick, but the longevity of the lime/mineral paint, and the overall effect is unmatched. STEP 1 – We Prepare

To begin your project we have to make sure the brick is free and clear of any and all debri, dirt, mold, and algae. This is done by power washing the entire home. By doing this it allows for the calcification process of Romabio Paint to hardens to the brick.
Step 2 – Quantity and Tools

We will check the texture of the brick and depth of the mortar joints as it will vary the amount of paint needed. Helpful tip 3-4.5 liter of water per 15 liters of product (20% dilutions).
Step 3 – Starting the Project

For absorbent, unpainted masonry surfaces, wet the wall or leave it damp from the initial cleaning. You do not need to have running water on it, but it should not be dry. Romabio can only be applied in 50-90°F weather.

STEP 4 – Painting

We have to apply the first coat and allow the paint to dry for 4-8 hours before applying the second coat. The best part about Romabio mineral paint is that you are able to do any touch ups anytime.
Step 5 – Curring

Once the project is completed with two coats (solid only) you have to allow the product to cure for at least 14 days before cleaning. When cleaning the finish product a light pressure washing will work just fine.
Step 6 – Cleaning Up

You can clean any and all Romabio products with water and soap on all surfaces. Romabio Paints are 100% organic and will not harm your lawn, plants, and trees once it is diluted.
